8 Fashion trends our dads loved that need to make a come back already

Looking at old pictures of our dads, especially the ones from when they were in uni are always a source of humor for us. Amidst all the laughs, we have to give it to them, there was something undeniably cool about their style. These are the trends we would love to make a comeback, and soon too.

  1. Silk shirts
Silk shirts, with only half of the buttons done up are definitely due for a comeback. Seriously, what’s cooler than this?

  2. Parachute pants
You have to credit them, with at least being very comfortable.

  4. Bell bottom pants
Say what you want about bell bottom pants, but at least they don’t look as ridiculous as skinny jeans look, on guys.

  5. Kangol hats
These used to be everywhere, from their bucket hats to the baseball hats to their good old flat hats, we love them all.

  6. Tweed jackets
Before they were associated with old Professors, tweed jackets were the coolest thing to own in the 80s, where they made like a third comeback. Well it’s 2016, and we think they are overdue for another comeback.
  7. Jheri Curls
Ok we are just kidding about this one, jerry curls have absolutely no place in 2016. Seriously Korede Bello, get rid of it -if that’s what it is-. Am I the only one who thought it was “Jerry”curls?

  8. High-top fades
Fades are cool, but a high-top fade is way cooler and it can never be high enough. Seriously, the higher the better.
