Calling all models; Africa Fashion Week Nigeria’s castings are almost here

The Africa Fashion Week Nigeria showcase is arguably the biggest fashion showcase in Nigeria after the Lagos Fashion and Design Week, drawing designers, stylist, models and enthusiasts from around the country for the two day event.

This year Africa Fashion Week Nigeria is ramping things up, first with its collaboration with Nigeria’s Next Top Model, and then announcing Yemi Alade as this year’s brand ambassador.

As things get into gear, AFWN is turning an eye to the models that will bring the clothes at this year’s showcase alive. AFWN has always been open to discovering new talent, so as is tradition, the organizers will be having an open model casting. The anticipated fashion event calls all male and female models and modelling agencies to attend a casting call set for 21st May 2016 from 12noon to 4pm.

The fashion event set to hold from 1st-3rd July 2016 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos is set to unveil looks from fifty (50) designers from around the world.

Requirements:

-Male models must be a minimum height of 6 foot

-Female models must be a minimum height of 5.9 and a dress size of 6 to 12.

-All models must wear jeans and a white or black top

-Female models are required to come with high heels (block heels and wedges are not allowed)

-All models must know their full statistics.
