Review: Your makeup will survive anything with Urban Decay setting spray

I’m not a big fan of setting sprays, because I tend to react to most of them, and I just honestly didn’t think they really did anything. I have super oily skin, and even when I use primers before putting on my makeup, it turns into an oily mess at the end of the day. I started using the Mac Studio Fix Plus setting spray, but even that didn’t last as long as I would have loved it to.

So my friend introduced me to the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray,- which I had always avoided because it’s a little pricey- and I haven’t looked back since then.

I know it might sound like an exaggeration, but the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray could probably help your makeup survive a nuclear attack. Like the rest of your body could probably disintegrate and your brows will probably still be on fleek. To prove my point, I tried using the setting spray through certain conditions and it didn’t disappoint.

  1. I showered with it. Not the soap and water kind of shower but I pretty much just stood under my shower head for the longest time and I stepped out with my makeup intact. So the setting spray pretty much makes your makeup water resistant. So good-luck to the guys who plan to take their dates swimming for a first date to reveal her “true” face, it ain’t going to work b.

  2. I slept with it. I toss and turn a lot in my sleep, and whenever I sleep off accidentally with my makeup on, I usually wake up with an imprint of my face on my sheets or my eyebrows on my arm. But when I used the setting spray before sleeping, (just for you guys) I woke up with my makeup pretty much intact. Just imagine being able to do your makeup the night before an early morning appointment.
    This will never be you
    This will never be you.
  3. It kept my makeup on for 24 hours (literally). I used the setting spray on my makeup before leaving for work around 6a.m, and then went out partying (all night) after work, without retouching it, and to my surprise I didn’t look like a mess in all the pictures I took. In fact it pretty much looked like I had just put on my makeup (well almost anyway).

If you want to try the setting spray (probably because you think I’m exaggerating its abilities), you can get it for ten thousand naira here. Will I be buying the setting spray again? Hell yeah!
