Okay, so that header might be debatable, but even if the Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner is not the best eyeliner ever created, it is pretty damn close.
If I had to only keep one item in my makeup purse, it would be my eyeliner and anyone who’s as obsessed with eyeliner as I am can definitely relate.
There are a couple of things we beauty lovers look out for when buying eyeliner.
First of all, we want to know how pigmented it is. I hate having to draw on a line over and over again to get that very dark look.
Secondly, is it easy to apply? Drawing on a perfectly winged tip is already hard enough so we avoid eyeliners that are not easy to apply.
Thirdly, how easily does it wear off? Will my eyeliner survive a heartbreak or a rain storm?
And lastly how affordable is it? We always want our eye-makeup to be on fleek, but we don’t want to have to pay an arm and a leg for it. They are just eyeliner after all.
So we tried out all the tests on the Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner, and it aced all of them.
The eyeliner was very dark and I had to only swipe once to get the look I wanted. It was very easy to apply, and had a nice finish. I had to wait about a minute or two to let the liner dry, so that it didn’t stain the tops of my eyelids. It survived me watching P.S I love you twice -yes I cried both times-, and you can get it here for just about 2,100 naira.
My verdict? I’m in love with it.
