I had the most amazing time documenting Biola & Gbayi’s wedding! From stepping into Biola’s Room,  I knew that this was going to be a gorgeous wedding!! One that we can’t forget in a long time. From their impeccable taste in their choice of wedding details to their grand reception entry and the nothing but a joyful and humble couple.It was just fabulous!

I could feel what they share, their friendship and the joy in their eyes when they look at each other! So perfect!

How We Met

~ Biola

Adegbayi and I met in a relatively ordinary fashion, hitting it off after connecting through mutual friends. The first time we met was at my school and I remember glancing over him and asked “why are you so fair, ” he smiled, but didn’t say anything, we went for a drink somewhere not so far from school, I just observed his eyes were all over me, which made me uncomfortable, we barely even talked, maybe he was shy or I was but I just couldn’t tell what it was. Then after like a week or two, he asked me out on a proper date, we both had a really nice time, we were talking, laughing, it was just it.

Over the next few months we fell for each other and eventually it evolved into a relationship, we talked every day, he became my everything and the constant distance really sucks,  but it made seeing each other so much more worth it. And he always making it count, coming to visit me after work sometimes. He always says that choosing to travel very late to come see me at school was the best decision he’s made in life.

Then a year after,  after my youth service, he proposed at the same restaurant Zen Garden, where we had our proper first date. I was too ecstatics with joy, because I just love him too much.  People have the belief of their idea of a soulmate. But I have never doubted for any moment that I was in a relationship with my soulmate, and I know how lucky we were. He’s my soulmate, my husband,  Forever and a day! Together we are happy and complete!
