While we await the royal wedding set to hold next Spring, Prince Harry and fiancee, Meghan Markle have made their first public appearance since their engagement announcement earlier today.
Britain’s Prince Harry 33, and former 'Suits' star, 36-year-old Meghan Markle announced their engagement on Nov. 27, 2017. Clarence House released a statement on Monday morning that Harry had informed the Queen, as well as other close family members, and that the wedding would take place in the spring. The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace. Markle’s parents said in a similar statement that they were "incredibly happy" for the pair: "Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person," they added. "To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents." They have been dating for at least 15 months. The couple met for the first time in London in July 2016, when they were introduced by a mutual friend, and made their first public appearance together at the Invictus Games last September. The couple were all smiles and looked so in love as they posed for a photocall at the Kensington Palace Sunken Garden on Monday. The Suits actress, Meghan Markle showed up in a white belted coat by Canadian brand, Line the Label worn over a dark green, kneelength dress by P.A.R.O.S.H that reportedly costs £437.
Markle showed off her engagement ring which we hear was designed by Prince Harry himself. Daily Mail UK reports that the ring made by Cleave and Company has “one stone from Botswana, where he and Meghan recently holidayed, and two diamonds from his mother, Princess Diana’s personal collection.” The ring has been estimated at £199,475.
Now, we can no longer wait to see more of the couple in the days that lead up to their wedding and of course, we’re curious to know who will be designing Markle’s dress and who her bridesmaids will be.
