Here are the first images of the Maxivive Rain 16 editorial campaign

You will remember that Babatunde Oyeyemi’s Maxivive was one of  our favourite collections from the South Africa Menswear Week. Oyeyemi’s collection was one of the more practical collections with many of the pieces made from tarpaulin and other water proof materials, cut into silhouettes that could translate easily from sidewalk to office board room. The mix of formal wear and streetwear and (finally) an infusion of strong colours set this collection apart as Oyeyemi’s best.

Now Oyeyemi is releasing editorial images for the collection mere weeks before he is slated to debut his Spring 17 collection at the South Africa Menswear Week spring showcase. Working with Seun Logan, the editorial is shot in South Africa. We’ll bring you the full thing once we get them, but for now, feast your eyes.

So what do you think, guys?
