Our Love story (as told by Modupe):

I met Ope Ajayi in School and that was at a time when my heart was broken, battered and smashed. I had been holding on to myself since my last break up because I was afraid to fall in love again. When it was a month to my birthday, I asked God for a birthday gift.

My life’s biggest security is in knowing that you will always be there to love me back no matter what.

If my life were a business, entering into an unconditional and irrevocable partnership with you has been the most profitable decision ever. I love you.

My life’s biggest achievement is that I get to be with an awesome man like you every day.

I could easily say that I love you to death, but I really want to live forever to love you eternally.

Although, I was not asking for a guy in particular, but I told to give me something awesome and God surely did because he brought Ope to me. One of my Pastors christened him Öreoluwa” meaning God’s gift and indeed he is a beautiful gift from God that I will always appreciate.

Every day of my life is perfect because it starts and ends with loving you.

All the ladies in this world should learn a thing or two, about being a perfect bae from you.

The woman who said that all men are the same, obviously never met a man as handsome and loving as you are.

I met him through a friend and we exchanged pin and started chatting till we got so used to each other. Ope completely swept me off my feet because I kept on thinking about him all day. he was just the man that i had hoped for. God has a way of healing wounds and HE definitely healed mine. It had been 3 wonderful years with Ope and would definitely pray for more years with him, he proposed last year and of course, I said a big yes!

I always hear people asking God for a chance to do things over. It confused me until I realized that they must not have found a soulmate like you

All that I love is you. I love who you are and our life together. I live life entirely for loving you.

When life seems to suffocate with problems and issues, you are like a gasp of fresh air. Your love revives me and keeps me strong.

It all started 3 years ago, when my friend jokingly told me to leave the singles market and become a real man, i told her i had not found my significant other yet and she said she could introduce me to one of her friends that would perfectly fit me.

Even though I have seen a million people today, the only person that I can think about is you.

You are the love of my life, and the light of my day. I will love you forever.

To cut the long story, she introduced me to Modupe, who was in her final year as a dental student then. We exchanged our BBM pin and got chatting. She is funny and col to chat with. I was already so into her and I never knew. I would practically stay glued to my phone to chat and talk all day. A few years later, I asked her out officially to be my woman, and thus we began our journey of love.

My life with you is something that I would never trade, even for all of the riches under Heaven.

I give you my heart with full intention, gratefully knowing that my life will never be the same, but much better.

Everything you do is a source of joy for me. I can never be sad when I’m around you.

When I miss you, I re-read all our old conversations and smile like a fish

Someone up there must be watching out for me, because they sent Heaven’s most beautiful angel into my life.

My gratitude for having met you is surpassed only by my amazement at the joy you bring to my life

Can anything be more valuable than our love? Since you are with me, my only measurement is in heartbeats.

So, I told her I would love to take her out for a boat cruise and that she was free to invite her friends, unknown to her that I already informed them about my plan. I remembered I was a little bit tensed because I did not want her to find out about my plan.

Every time I look into your eyes, I see a beautiful, radiant, magical, perfect and colorful future.

Growing old used to scare me. Now, I do not fear old age because I will get to spend it with you

We set out for the cruise and before she knew what was happening, I was on my knee right in the middle of the lake, and I popped the Question. She was so shocked and surprise, but of course, she said yes and i felt like the happiest man on earth. She is the love of my life.
