Following in the steps of Fenty Beauty and Lancome, MAC cosmetics has just launched 60 shades of foundation.
As the debate on diversity continues to soar, more beauty and fashion lines are stepping up to the new status quo. From Maybelline to CoverGirl and Dior, brands are expanding their business by incorporating more tones into their range.
To cater to a diverse range of skin tones previously ignored on the shelves, M.A.C. will be offering an additional 18 shades of its best-selling Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 foundation. According to the brand, the expanded range will bring all its foundation shades to 60 more than Fenty and Lancome’s 40 shades.
MAC says it accommodates both skin tones and undertones.
MAC will also increase its Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation to 53 shades and will release 33 shades of a brand-new 24-Hour Concealer, plus additional shades of its contour palettes, conceal and correct palettes, and Perfecting Powder.
Don’t worry, there is a shade finder tool online to help you navigate through these numbers and you don’t have to try them all to find your shade.
