Maju new collection ‘Ember Edit’ is here to declare Summer officially cancelled

Just in case it hasn’t hit you yet, we’re in the famed ‘Ember’ months. Wow! 8 months have already passed in 2016. But Maju, the accessible fashion women’s wear line is well aware that we’re 3 months to all the festivities of December and the Nigerian fashion calendar and wants to make sure you’re properly kitted for all the partying with their ‘Ember Edit’. Featuring ace models Banke Su, Nikki Anyasi and Aduke Shitta Bey, and with partnerships with Good Hair Ltd and IamDodos, they give on the coolest editorials from Maju this year.

On the rack this season is the season’s biggest trend, the cold shoulder. There are many varieties of it, from the demure peekaboo shoulder to full on, all out shoulder blouses. There are also resurging trends like fringe, and accordion pleats which after several collections testing it now, Maju finally nails by conceding less is always better than more with metallic pleats. Stripes, lace, evening wear and floral prints round out the collection.

The collection comes just in time for Maju to fete its loyals to one of it’s triannual shopping parties to let potential Maju fans shop the collection in person. The ‘Ember Edit’ party is happening on the 10th of September 2016 at the BMW 100 year celebration.

Happy shopping kids.
