41 LUXE the luxury retailer with stores in Lagos and Abuja is trying to shed it’s high brow image and attract a younger, more vibrant demographic. One of the ways it is doing this is through its new collaborative photo series ‘The LUXE Lady’, a collaborative effort somewhat like the model designer Wana Sambo premiered, where a high profile fashion person who the brand considers emblematic of the woman 41 LUXE wants to dress gets to do a shoot for the brand.
41 LUXE is putting a twist on the model by letting the subject of the shoot choose the clothes that are used in the shoot, so the styling is as authentic as possible. And their very first model/muse is none other than Oge Agu, the editor of fashion and lifestyle site, Kamdora.NG.
Agu is really the perfect first subject, site boasts tons of readers and even better, she is an actual proper blogger and influencer, not an internet celebrity with a huge social media followership (not to say that that doesn’t have it’s own appeal.)
Choosing pieces like the premium label Fia’s ‘Bat’ dress, a lacy number and separates with a whole lot of colour/prints, Agu touches on all the right trends. The LUXE Lady series is something we’ll definitely be watching.
