As the editor of Exquisite magazine, Tewa Onasanya has managed to create an aspirational voice in the Nigerian fashion publishing industry through her magazine and other events including the Luxury beauty brunch and the Exquisite Lady of the Year (ELOY) awards. Always on the asking end of the interviews, it was great to discover that Tewa had sat down with the good people over at Pulse TV’s One on One for an interview about her life and work.
The normally reserved magazine editor lays out all the cards about about the humble beginnings of the magazine, started when Onasanya was based in the UK. She also talks about how the magazine has grown in the intervening 12 years. She also talks about juggling family and work and the Exquisite Lady of the Year Awards (ELOY) that has become the premier women oriented awards event as well as the magazine’s philanthropic efforts.
