Watch: Sika Osei loves her brown skin and shows us how to care for ours.

Before we get into this post we need to take a compulsory music break and jam out to some India Arie to get us in the mood.

Okay, dance break over, now to the meat of the day. TV presenter and actress Sika Osei is one of our favorite actresses since she fronted the most recent Zazaii Influencer Series editorial clad in gorgeous underwear and nothing but her gorgeous brown skin. Around that time, she began her beauty Vlog, where she talks about beauty and lifestyle. After the editorial she says she got a lot of compliments about her skin and advice on how to care for skin that dark in a world where you have to triple check every beauty product you buy to ensure there are no lightening agents in them. Here’s how Sika explains it.

Over the last month, I’ve had the most number of people – in any one month interval – reach out to me about how maintain my dark skin. In part, I think it might have to do with my Swimsuit Photoshoot that I had few weeks back for the Zazaii Influencer Series. See it here. Truth be told though, I probably couldn’t cover my entire skin routine in one video but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to touch on something that has become a must-have or must-do for as far as I can remember. And it’s Oils! Oils! Oils!

You couldn’t catch me any day using creams, ‘peoples’! Oils are my go to products that I use to continually revitalize and nourish my skin. Which is why I touch on two of my favourite oils and how I use or combine them in this episode of “Ebony Loving”. Enjoy!

Let me know what you guys think and more important please share with me – in the comments below – your own routines on how you keep your skins looking fabulous

Sika Osei definitely knows her stuff and we love how unashamed she is of stripping down and embracing herself as is. We need more women in love with themselves to serve as role models for younger girls, and Sika is definitely it. Here’s the video, maybe we can all learn a thing or two.
