These pants are going to replace all your tailored slacks

We love a pair of well tailored slacks as much as the girl, they are one of the staple items every woman should have in their closet. They can be worn casually or formally, so they can literally go from work, to a wedding, to a date, to a casual outing with friends. Expectedly, we’ve gone on and on about how important it is to own a pair, and while we acknowledge that tailored slacks will never go out of trend we’ve found a pair of pants that might just replace (maybe even permanently), your slacks.

Palazzo pants are surprisingly perfect for every occasion, making them just as versatile as slacks, if not even more. Even though a casual look can be pulled off with slacks with careful accessorizing, it’s so much more easily done with palazzos.

Palazzos first became popular in the 60s/70s, and even though they’ve gone in and out of trend, they always remained on the biggest runways in varying forms every fashion season ever since. Even though they were first made popular as summer season style, because of the light breathable materials they were usually made from, they’ve evolved into being suitable for more formal occasions.

The key to tailoring your palazzos to fit every occasion is buying two pairs for a start. The first should be made of a light fabric in a fun print or bright colour for more casual use, while the second can easily be a black pair made out of a slightly heavier fabric than the first. How you pair them with blouses and how you accessorize also come into play.

The long and short of it, is that palazzos might just be the most perfect pair of pants ever made.
