We are crushing so hard on Olamide Ogundele

If you don’t know Olamide Ogundele, perhaps you this is your first time on The Other Style, or you’ve been living under a rock. Signed to Few Model Management, Ogundele was the break out model of 2015.

In just 8 short months she went from virtual first face to becoming the face of the 2015 Lagos Fashion and Design Week (the other face was Damilola Oguntoye but he was coming fresh off winning the Elite Model Look Nigeria 2015 edition, so there are some doubts about his legitimacy). Oguntoye has gone on to work with many Nigerian designers including Sevon Dejana, Retro Religion and Maki Oh. She has also featured on Mania Magazine and Vogue as part of the Vogue Talents on set editorial.

There’s so much amazing about her that we want to show you if you let us.

She photographs beautifully. This was when we were first properly introduced to her, one of the outtakes of her editorial shoot for LFDW with ace photographer Lakin Ogunbanwo. She doesn’t just work well in front of the camera, she literally lights up!

She doesn’t just photograph well, she has quite the killer walk. She walked 20 odd shows at the Lagos Fashion and Design Week and annihilated in every single one.

Thank you @spotlightpi for this beautiful portrait💙 cant wait for the next💃💃💃😉

Just look at that face, She is gorgeous.

But she isn’t just pretty, she also has that edge that distinguishes high fashion models from everyone. She is edgy but vulnerable, you don’t come across those qualities all that often in a model.

Which is just as well, because she just signed with Boss Models South Africa, the same agency that discovered Charlize Theron and Behati Prinsloo. One went on to become an A-List actress and the other a Victoria Secret model. Great company if you ask us.

But at the end of the day, she is just a baby girl living her life.

We can’t wait to see what she does in 2016! We know she’ll kill it.
