Sade is so beautiful! No makeup and she already looked good.. 'Sade Daramola' is one mysterious lady. Her name fully indicates she's Nigerian. During her install, I spoke to her in 'Yoruba' and asked if she understood. She said 'yes a little' but can't speak it as she's not fully Nigerian. At that point I was like ???? 'erm I don't understand'. So she explained further that she's 3/4 Sierra Leonean and 1/4 Nigerian, so she speaks and understands the other language more! I was left mesmerized! ????#myjobisaneyeopener#whowouldhavethought#anincredibleworldwelivein.. Moving on.. Sade was specific about what she wanted 'Tola, I really want a lot of designs, no simple buns please'. So, we went for a centre part #laceclosure, a clean sweep and a detailed back. Gorgeous Abi.. Referral and makeup by my darling @lamro_b ???????? Abi's Aunty was so strict initially (chief planner ????) and was carrying a test on my skills and personality.. The bride kept asking 'are you sure you're not under pressure'. I replied 'under pressure for what? I style hair in my sleep lol'. She smiled back. My darling @asakeomoge_ was initially a regular client- from weaves to crotchet braids etc and then.. She was getting married! ???? It was so exciting and emotional.. A year ago (April), she did her registry in England and asked me to style her hair, then she did the wedding later in Nigeria. Ofcourse she wanted me over but the costs were unbelieveable! When she got back, I got a call from her: 'Tola, I want you to style my hair for my wedding photos'. For a moment, I paused.. ???? 'aren't you already married, I don't get it?'. She wanted a retake ???? in a more serene environment and ofcourse another opportunity to have her hair styled by me ????(I love loyal clients ????). Lo and behold, we did a retake of the day, but only in photos (???? no bridal party, no reception, no walking down the aisle, no aso ebi etc and ofcourse no noise or tension ????).
