Paris Fashion Week 2016: Our Top Looks from Isabel Marant, Balmain and Chloe

Isabel Marant

The brand played with strong shoulders, plaid, animal patterns and argyle diamonds. Also featured were mannish, oversized coats worn over patent leather pants or short skirts that are high-waisted and belted. for more girly girls, dresses were covered in chic ruffles, pleating and rushing.

Dior

Prevalent in the Dior collection this season are the riff in a bar jacket here, a peplum waist there or an elegant off the shoulder style — mostly haute couture and this collection has made use of Simons’ signature silhouettes.

Balmain

It’s all about texture and embellishment for the Balmain woman—from a tassel adorned dresses to to ruffle and lace pants.

Chloe

When we think of Chloe this season, we simultaneously think of travel!  Riding ponchos to motor leather jackets and oversized knitwear, this collection was influenced by the writer Anne-France Dautheville who traveled around the Middle East and Africa in the 70s and thus birthed a romantic collection.
