Traditional Engagement

How they met? Ibieneseleàa narrating; ‘Journey together’ : A unique love grew quite remarkably from an easy friendship.

I have known Akonte casually for a long time. He’s not only my townsman, our families are neighbours in the village and he also happens to be my mother’s junior colleague. However we were merely acquainted and not too familiar. Then one day I responded to a post on facebook asking individuals to state their hometown. I got a ‘like’ and subsequently a ‘friend request’ from him. That was the beginning of our journey together.

We found that we had more than just a hometown in common and the rest as they say is history. Happy history. We look forward with faith and grace to a happy and fulfilled future. So help us God.
