Erdem
Erdem’s all-eveningwear collection consisted of femininity, craftsmanship and detail. With the exception of a few trouser suits – a houndstooth Chanel-y style and other wool versions heavily embroidered – this was a line-up of exquisite gowns. From Edwardian bias cut velvet devore styles with frilled bibs and cuffs, to gold crochet designs and others with prim white doily collars, everything hit midi length or longer, but there were enough slits, transparency and glimpses of skin that made it tantalising. An all-silver sequin fishtail skirted number, complete with matching cape, and a dancing lamé fringed ensemble.
Pringle of Scotland
