Love & Drama: Timi and Shola’s exciting pre-wedding photoshoot

Excited Groom, Shola has just shared this beautiful story with us.
Grab a seat and enjoy the ride 🙂

I remember the first time I set my eyes on My Queen, My Heartbeat, Oluwatimileyin at my cousin’s home, as she walked past me on the stairs, I remember turning around and wondering what a beauty she was and still is. I went straight to my Cousin to find out who she was and I remember (In Marvin’s voice) what he said ‘’this is a very precious girl to our family, Sola you can’t do hit and run on her’’ that means if I am going to go for her I have to take her serious.

There and then I took it has a task to find out what she has got that no other girl has. I worked hard to develop a friendship with her, offered all sorts of help just to gain her attention, not forgetting offering to help her with her final dissertation when she was in University even though I didn’t know what her course was all about Lol!.
Had to seek advice from everyone that knew her, oh my God I did a lot of James Bond’s moves to get her but in the end, I thank God that she noticed my hard work and fell in love with me.

Since then, she has been a blessing to me, an inspiration; she motivates and encourages me even at times I feel I am not up to standard. She makes me happy, she does things that are unimaginable which always reminds me of thanking God I made that perfect decision to ask her to marry me, a decision I will never regret.

To cut the story short, I am overly excited that I am getting married to the most beautiful, kind hearted, respectful, obedient, Hard-working, Loyal woman I have ever set my eyes on and I pray that after this wedding, our marriage will be a testimony.

How they met by Timi:

I can describe my husband to be in many ways but my favorite way is that he is my God sent and my everything.

I have known Olusola for a few years through his cousin who doubles as a dear friend turned sister of mine, We often attended the same family funtions and events but I never really took notice of him. You see my hubby is as quiet as they come.

I met Emmanuel Olusola Adedayo on the 21st of May 2011 in London. I was at my friend turned sister’s Dami T’s house on that faithful day. One of her Brothers was getting married and because we were so close I had slept over at her house. In the morning whilst getting ready for the wedding I saw Sola outside the house standing with a few other guys and I just looked away. Through out the wedding I could sense him looking at me (a woman’ 3rd sense its called) and every so often our eyes met.

Few weeks later.. my friend Dami told me that her brother wanted my number and that he likes me but I just ignored her and we swept it under the carpet. Then Dami’s mum who I gladly call my mum came to me and said “Timmy, Omo mi like e, o fe fe e” and I just laughed. At this point I was seeing someone else, but to cut the long story short, somehow somehow me and Sola started talking, and he would call me very often. But being the typical girl I was I would never return his calls which he complained about but remained persistent and patient with me. On my birthday in September 2012, he came over to mine with a birthday present and after that we got even closer and talked more regularly getting to know each other.

You see love has a way of fighting through every obstacle and flimsy excuses and as God would have it by this point I was very much single and I decided to give my Mr ever patient a chance and so we went out on a date and there has been no looking back ever since.
