When Okey first met Uche, she did not want to get involved with anyone. She did not have the time or energy, and was not sure if she was ready to have a relationship, but Uche was persistent.
And in a few weeks, they will be exchanging the marital vows.

My love affair with Okeym began early in 2007. We were introduced by a mutual friend in New York City and since then we have been inseparable as God destined it. Okeym meaning “my gift”, as I fondly call him, is a God fearing man full of wisdom, romance, and love. He protects me with each breath he takes and he takes my breath away every moment we spend together. I am lucky to have him in my life. Okeym is my best friend, mentor, playmate, confidant and my greatest challenge. He is the love of my life and makes me happier than I could ever imagine and more loved than I ever thought possible. He has made me a better person and our love for one another is reflected in the way I live my life. I bless God for our love and I ask him for direction, understanding and love that never falters.
