Last Sunday Thando’s held a soft launch for their new line of Thando’s Bridal flats. “Brides should be comfortable while remaining stylish on their special day” says Thando’s Co-founders, Taffi and JG Ayodele. Thando’s are lightweight, ballerina flats that fold up and can fit inside a small handbag. They come packaged in a drawstring bag that can double as a makeup purse or wristlet.
The soft launch was held at Grey Velvet (Lekki). Thando’s brand ambassador, Leila Lopes, Miss Universe 2011 from Angola, hosted the invite only affair. The beauty queen was all smiles, wearing her very own rose gold Thando’s designper pair for bespoke, one-of-a-kind designs.
Guests included Nollywood actress, Uru Eke, Ngozi Pere-Okorotie, Ikenna Okonkwo, and Simone Bartlette. Attendees were treated to a selection of Cointreau Fizz cocktails by premium orange liquor – Cointreau.
