Our Aww, LOL and OMG moments from our Wedding of the week (Volume seven)

tututiWe are all about Tutu and Timi Biobaku this week!

The love birds got married in Dallas in September.

Their LOVE story

The night I met the love of my love was quite an eventful night. It was supposed to be a night out with a bunch of friends. We drove from one place to another to find a perfect spot to hang out. My driving was what he found attractive at first. He thought there was a man behind the wheels, not knowing it was a girl with 4in heels. (LOL) After that fateful night he somehow got my number (Still not sure from whom.) Then the calls and messages began … Anyone who knows me knows my social skills is quite something. I don’t like talking; talking is not my thing I’d rather observe than talk. It would take me a good 3-5 days to return his calls or messages (I’m sorry babe; you know I had to do shakara small). This went on for about 7-8 months, but Timi wouldn’t give up! I really was in a different place at that particular time and still trying to find myself so there was nothing anyone could offer me at that point that I found interesting. (This is becoming story story o lol)

Later that year Timi went to Nigeria and was gone for about a month I think and when he came back I was one of the first few people he called. He left a voicemail because of course *coughs* I didn’t pick up lol! I later listened to the voice message which years later I still have, I sometimes find myself charging my old phone just to listen to the message.

Let me cut this my epistle short LOL!

Long story short I’ve always prayed to God to give me a man that is exactly like Timi, I mean everything I prayed for plus more. Loving, caring, gentle but still spunky when needed, not afraid to call me out on my BS/hard-headedness (I have lots of those phew-sorry babe), God-fearing and loves his mother, goal oriented, and a major go getter! He accepted me for who I am and never tried to change me but only to enhance me.

Timi my love, my sugar sugar, my sugar baby, ololufe mi, ekun l’omo, olowo ori mi I love you more than words can describe. I pray my love for you will continue to grow as we grow together in age and wisdom.

Tutu

It was a Saturday night in March 2012; I was invited to hang out with friends as Faith brought us together. A mutual friend introduced us and I wouldn’t let go. This was the beginning of many calls and texts which were not returned by my soon-to-be wife.

Her smile captivating, her charm elevating. She is all I want in a woman and more. Respectful, Honest and above all Humble. I said to myself “I have found the one”, I wouldn’t give up on her. I made so many attempts to reach out to her. I guess she found me booooring as you can tell from this piece.

One thing led to the other and we got talking again. We became so close and I started getting the hint of making it official.

In August 2014, I got engaged to the Love of my Life, the one who adds colors to my world.

I can’t wait for us to start this new chapter of our lives together.
