Kike and Fisayo wanted a travel themed wedding and their event event planner, IPC events helped achieve just that.
The wedding hash tag #destinationido16 which has been trending for a couple of days now, has got wedding lovers on instagram talking.
Kike and Fisayo had no bridal train so they made use of hostesses (ushers) and a pilot (MC) instead.

While we await the official wedding photo album, the event planner, Mosun Akinwamide, says “We came up with a Travel Themed Wedding when one day myself and Kike were gossiping as usual and she mentioned she was just about to get on a flight and she’s mentioned traveling to me a lot from the time we started talking, and I remember asking,what do u enjoy doing and she says…..Oh Mosun! I travel in my sleep…..I’ve been to over 35 countries…huh I was stunned and while I was trying to recover,I just spontaneously said……since you and Fisayo like traveling as it were…..how about we have a ‘Travel Themed Wedding…..And like they say……The rest is History!“
She further shared these highlights from the grand wedding.
Our Flight Itinerary Board……it tells you what flight is Boarding…..Landing…..Delayed…etc. So I guess the #DestinationIDO16 Flight Boarded yesterday but not sure it has landed……We had this at the entrance of the hall…..So instead of the tacky looking banner…..we created this Every details count…..Creating Magic,One event at a Time”“The Details at this event,like every other event we’ve had the privilege of planning, is mind Blowing. I remember when this idea popped into my head and during our Brainstorming session for this event and I mentioned it to the team like guys ” How about we Post a hand written letter with stamps from the couple to all the guest that attends this event thanking them for their presence and show of Love while they walk into the hall and have a sit from this scorching Nigerian Sun,Just to make them feel appreciated for their troubles etc…..And by now they know me…..Everybody immediately had a smile on their faces like ‘ Ms Mo’ has come again……lol and its simple….the philosophy to creating something new is asking yourself” how do really and HONESTLY want to be treated. Simple….You would be surprised how far your brain would exploreSharing Their Love Story of where they met for the first time Using Google maps as an illustration on their First dance stage…..lol This is in short a quick Read of how he found her……Every little details of your love stories mean a lot to me,so when I ask…..I really don’t want to know for knowing sake,I want to see if I can build around it 😜😋😋😁👏👏👏 🙈So the idea is,how about we bring to one location the memories of the first time they set they set their eyes on each other…..those butterflies Rumble they felt,The sugar Rush, The sweaty palms…..and the over zealous nerval and hormonal debate drama that went on 😁😁😁😋 Such that when they dance on this platform…..it hopefully ignites all this passion and memories back etc #Englishishardo #justsaying We are Crazy…. A themed wedding done right! 💋💋💋💋Our Table Numbers Stationary Place cards was a wonder! 😍😍😍😱😱 it’s a hit back to back! So we decided to Label all the tables with countries and cities they have been to and ofcuz to add a bit of a Romantic touch to it…..we added Love quotes that has to do with ‘Travel “destination “World “Love “adventure etc I am particularly 😍😍😍 at the effect it had on some guest while they sat on their table ……it was priceless
