We have got an interesting feature for you this Friday.
Adeniyi and Siletemi got married a few weeks ago but they have graciously shared their story with us.
They met via Facebook, but nothing happened.
Even whey found out they resided in the same neighborhood, nothing happened still.
Months later, they ran into each other at the University of Lagos but Siletemi still wasn’t sure until they met later in a church.
Read their love story as narrated by Siletemi below:
“Adeniyi added me on Facebook and we chat once in a while.Later we find out we stayed in the same neighborhood. One day we saw each other in UNILAG where we are both studying for our Masters degree then but I was too busy to grant him audience after that.
I guess God had ordained us to be together because we meet later in church(Christ embassy in Ikosi) and we were in the same cell group.Since we are in the same cell,we will go out for soul winning together and come for prayers together and then we became friends .
You can’t but love Adeniyi. He is a giver extraordinaire. He is so committed to spiritual things that he inspires me.
He is always there for me.He understand me and encourages me to do more.
Our hearts just connected when we discover we are passionate for the same ideas and concepts in life.
We courted for 3 years.”
The proposal story.
“I woke up one Tuesday morning to a soft knock on my door. It was one of those mornings I will love to sleep all day because I am off duty.
With heavy eyes I sleepwalked to the door, opened it to behold my baby, gave him a hug and went back to bed.
I woke up later to a beautiful box of chocolates beside me on the bed.
Opening the box of chocolates, I saw a beautiful ring. I was so elated that I just hugged him.
Kneeling on one knee, he asked me to marry him which I gladly said yes.”
Truly, you can’t always run away from fate, what will be, will be!
We wish Adeniyi and Siletemi a happy married life!
The bride is so pretty, especially her gap teeth.
