Newly wed couple Ezinne and Tony met 6 years ago! 2009. Ezinne was on her way to the beach withher friends and they decided to stop at a mutual friend’s house.
“I was in a hurry but reluctantly agreed to get out of the car…little did i know my future husband was in there! He saw me and one of the first things he said was “I’m going to make you my wife someday”…I laughed thinking it was ridiculous that someone would say that at the first meeting but here we are! Lololol
What was the best highlight of your wedding day?
My wedding day was ALL sorts of amazing. More amazing than I would have expected. One of the highlights was my husband kissing me before the priest finish his sentence “You May Now…..” Another highlight was the girl that tackled everyone American Football style to get the bouquet, and the sweetest was when the sparkles came on during our first dance……
What advice would you give other couples in the planning process?
Lol! I know i never really listened to anyone else’s advice simply because as women everyone’s situation is unique and we all handle things differently….One thing that helped Tony and I was creating groups for our families on watsapp as a way to keep everyone updated on what we were thinking….we know wedding planning gets tiring, trust us, we planned two weddings in Nigeria all the way from America…LOL…get a good wedding planner, try to keep family feeling involved, and constantly, constantly communicate!! Dont be so caught up in the wedding planning that you forget to water your relationship….
