Tracee Ellis Ross shut down the American Music Awards in 12 separate outfits

Golden Globe-winning actress, Tracee Ellis Ross hosted last night’s American Music Awards and proved to everyone who may have been in doubt that she’s every bit as stylish as her mother, Diana Ross.

The Black-ish star held nothing back as she gave the audience multiple shades of Tracee in sparkling, dazzling outfits and the most remarkable being the one she used in paying a fashion tribute to her mother, which is where we’ll begin:

In 1981, Diana Ross performed with Michael Jackson in a white trouser suit and black bedazzled shirt.
36 years after, Tracee pulls the shirt out of her mother’s garage and recreated the look. Wowzers!!!
She hit the red carpet ahead of the show in a long sleeved, custom Stella McCartney gown and Tamara Mellon pumps
This winning look features a peplum-dress with peplum sleeves, a plunging neckline, cornrows and stiletto heels
Tracee also wore this Paco Rabanne fringe dress and torquoise jewelry
The metallic bronze pleated number by Ronald van der Kemp that everyone is talking about.
Looking like something out of an Instagram filter…Tracee wears a simple sheer overlay dress and pairs with a flower crown
Another fringe meets glitter outfit
White crop top over a white tulle skirt and that signature swept back hairdo! Now this is one look Rihanna could rock…
Knee-high boots are everything and Tracee kills this one with a sequin jumpsuit.
We like catsuits now. Thanks to Tracee Ellis Ross. And a slim belt to go, please!
Before the catsuit was the catsuit and the fur coat. Man’s not hot!
