The bankers who met at COOL FM |Tiese & Olajide’s love story & wedding photos

Tiese Abiodun Ekpo (bride) and Olajide Aboderin  (Groom) are both bankers, they interestingly met at the reception of Cool Fm.

The beautiful bride Tiese tells their story thus:

“He works at FirstBank and I work at Access Bank. Just like our parents, our marriage is inter-tribal. Jide’s mom is from Edo state and his Dad is from Oyo state. My mom is from Ogun state and my Dad is from Akwa Ibom. We met at the reception of Coolfm, my former workplace.  We dated for 2 years and got engaged in July.”
What was the best highlight of your wedding day?My best highlight of the wedding will be the presence of family and friends that came out to support us and seeing how well everything came together.

What advice would you give other couples in the planning process?

My advice to couples planning a wedding is to be prayerful and trust in God. Get a good wedding planner if you can afford it. Make sure Your DJ, band and MC must be ready to turn up; so  choose wisely. Be prudent when necessary but remember it’s your day, so you can splurge a little. Get the things you need on time, you will be glad you need.
You will get a lot of unsolicited advice, don’t let it bother you; it’s your big day, the decisions should come from you even if you welcome suggestions.
Lastly, be ready to compromise and sacrifice and remember your parents are a big part of this; allow them to feel involved. Remember to enjoy your day and have fun, when it’s over you will find that you didn’t need to stress….
