The campaign for body positivity and inclusion in fashion just scored another win as Latasha Ngwube, founder of About That Curvy Life, has emerged as one of the muses for womenswear designer, My Q Lady’s latest collection.
The collection which contains 10 unique pieces explores the beauty of lace for plus size women. The designer wrote on Instagram, “The plus size market is my biggest and most loyal client base. Their repeat custom and loyalty can’t be quantified, we constantly sell out plus size pieces and we thought why not put a collection together. We are proudly dedicating a 10 piece collection to my beautiful lace women. I present to you my plus lace woman. ”
And who better to channel “the plus lace woman” than Latasha Ngwube in all her gracefulness. Along with model Frances Igweonu, Latasha makes bold statements as she dons the figure-hugging, curve-flattering pieces.
