One Nigerian man has set the bar unbelievably high for men hoping to pop the question to their girlfriends with an elaborate proposal featuring a flash mob.
Oli Famoudun, 34, from Essex decided to surprise his girlfriend of three years in a crowded restaurant with an elaborate set up that she would never forget.
The stunt – which was captured on video – involved him putting on a prosthetic nose, wig, a beard, layers of make-up and a pair of glasses to disguise himself as an aged waiter.
He also filled the entire restaurant with actors for an all-singing, all-dancing flash mob.
The video shows him serving the table where Yemisi is sitting with two friends in Gillray’s steak house, London, before ‘accidentally’ spilling water onto their table and soaking her in the process.
Yemisi appears to become agitated as the ‘waiter’ walks away without apologising, before a smartly-dressed man begins playing the guitar directly behind her.
One by one, different restaurant guests begin breaking into song as they serenade a visibly confused Yemisi and her two dining companions.
Just as the music is dying down, Oli reappears and removes his wig to surprise his girlfriend, before getting down on one knee amid cheers from the entire restaurant.
As his girlfriend is overcome with tears, he tells her: ‘You know how much I love you, I’ve always loved you
‘You’re such a wonderful, beautiful, caring girl. You’ve been there for me through hard times. Will you marry me?’
The whole restaurant breaks into applause as she accepts his proposal. Watch video below
