Tomi and Dimeji Ajayi recently exchanged the marital vows.
The newly weds who started dating from secondary school years ago (J.SS. 3) have now graciously shared moments from their Yoruba wedding with us.
Though they did not pursue anything serious at the time (in Jss 3)they were always on each others minds. This game of staring at one another through the class room corridors and daydreaming of each other continued till graduation from secondary school.
With Dimeji being from the states the assumption was with him moving back to further his education the fairy tale was over. Turns out cupid had other plans the because even with the distance between Florida and Lagos their love for each other was indisputable even their families doubted the seriousness.
With time all things became clear what each others heart desired despite the distance. They made trips to meet in Dubai and London, Dimeji traveled to Nigeria more in the span of a few more than he had ever in years and in 2014 at a candle light Dinner in Ikeja after planning with Zen gardens staff in Ikeja he popped the question and they were engaged to be married.
