Highlight of Day 3 at the Heineken LFDW 2016: Beata, will you marry me?

When JohnsonJohnson began the showcase of his collection on the runway last night with Noble Igwe as the front liner, little did we know that this designer had a magical experience planned out for the guests.

From bespoke suits to the Goodluck Jonathan-inspired Bayelsan attires to the sharp-cut agbadas, this collection had something for every man, regardless of their tribe.

Just when we thought we had the seen the last of the menswear collection, some of the models reappeared on the runway all holding rose stalks. When we saw R&B artiste, Ric Hassani strutting along with a mic in hand rendering his famous track, Gentleman, and designer, Johnson Iyaye Rotimi right behind him, we still didn’t sense the twist to this well-played plot.

Then, Johnson walked off runway, picked out the beautiful lady, dropped on one knee and popped the question. It was the most beautiful and unforgettable sight of the night and of course, she said yes.img-20161029-wa0008img-20161029-wa0003img-20161029-wa0002
