Kehinde and Deji had their yoruba engagement in the ancient city of Ibadan and i was there with the team to cover photography for the small but classy occasion. Friends and family surrounded the couple; their friends were particularly on hand to help both the bride and groom get ready for the joyous occasion.
The couple’s accessories were on point. The bride’s make-up was so well done, it didn’t run and it was well set throughout the ceremony. Kudos to Donnelle Beauty! They were beaming with smiles and excitement; it was a case of ‘he who finds a wife finds a good thing’. They both really couldn’t contain their excitement and love for each other and we captured and documented every bit of their glorious day.
The ceremony was a very colorful one and the joy in the hearts of family and friends could visibly be seen on their faces. It was such a delightful occasion. The guests all had various expressions of joy, love, excitement and a carefree display of their genuine happiness for the couple.
The ambience of the hall was very calm and welcoming with a divine combination of baby pink and sky blue. The symbols of romance and confidence and we could truly see the confident display of love in the couple as they both openly displayed their love and joy while carrying out the traditional rites. The hall was beautifully decorated; the tables were tastefully set and the chairs were wonderfully covered.
The fun-loving couple deviated from the norm when it comes to traditional wedding cakes; they went with a tennis themed cake because of the bride’s love for the sport. This also added to the glamour and uniqueness of the occasion. The traditional requirements of the wedding were ushered in, in very classy woven baskets.
There was enough to eat and drink and lots of dancing to good music.
