High street brand Desire 1709 has released it’s 2016 ‘Transseasonal’ lookbook. The look book modeled by fitness expert Taje Prest and model Idy Essien features a variety of silhouettes for regular and plus sized women totaling twenty looks. The brand which also has a retail space based in Surulere explains that with the new collection, it is trying to curate a catalog of wardrobe staples that work for women of all sizes. There are glamorous off shoulder, two tone evening dresses and khaki sleeveless jump suits; navy inspired ensembles and casual work wear.
While the brand doesn’t specify if all the pieces modeled are available in normal and plus sizes, it explains that the idea of trans-seasonal clothing is the new collection’s major themes. The collection is available for pre-order at the brand’s retail stores at 3 Adebola streetoff Adeniran Ogunsanya street Surulere lagos and 3 Jerry Iriabe Street off admiralty road Lekki phase one.
