For most beauty lovers, anything MAC is the holy grail of beauty products, and while I don’t always agree, I admit that MAC makes some pretty good shit I can’t do without. Their MAC Studio Fix foundation, is however definitely not on that list.
I should probably start with everything I love about this foundation. First of all, I love its coverage, putting on just one layer covered most of my dark spots and under eye circles. It also has an SPF of 15, which is great considering how hot it gets these days, and a nice matte finish look, once you put it on that makes your selfies always look good. As much as I loved, the fact that I couldn’t seem to take a bad selfie with the foundation on, it’s way too heavy for me to use everyday, especially in this weather. I also found that I couldn’t use it without a primer or setting spray. Every time I used it, without a primer my face would be an oily mess by the middle of the day.
I know it seems like I’m nitpicking, and most foundations have this same problems, but for about 13,000 naira and considering how good other foundations in that price range are, I was expecting a whole lot more.
