To debut its cruise 2017 show, Dior took show-goers including A-Listers like Emma Roberts, Kate Mara, Kiernan Shipka and more aboard The Dior Express train to London’s Blenheim Palace. Of course, this wasn’t your average commuter train ride—the Dior express instead was an ornately decorated train car featuring fine china, tea service, plush chairs and conductors wearing Dior.
Dior’s cruise 2017 show journeyed to the Bienheim Palace in England for an outing of eclectic looks that bridged a gap between Parisian and English style. The team focused on the iconic Dior bar jacket, remixed with a focus on the hips and also “bisected” as a mini skirt over long trousers.
Also, the house embraced tropical prints and patterns with Asian and African influences as well as equestrian-inspired jackets. Another focus at the show was the casting of Bella Hadid, who walked for the Parisian fashion house for the first time after being named a Dior makeup ambassador earlier in the day.
