The Vogue Beauty Awards 2018 honoured brands like Fenty as “Gamechanger of the Year” and CAKE Cosmetics, the makeup line that caters to Caribbean, African and Indian complexions won the “New Kid On The Block” Award.

British Vogue in partnership with Feelunique and Pinterest has released the list for their very first Beauty Awards. It’s definitely better times we live in today as people with darker skin tones- to see products that cater to us actually win top recognition.
From the best niche fragrance to the ultimate skin solution, there were 176 nominees across 22 categories. And we are happy with the results, it was definitely free and fair though we silently wished we had seen more afro based brands make it to the top.
No worries, there is always room for improvement.
