Today, we bring you the wedding of this gorgeous couple, Mercy and Joshua.

We brought you their fun filled pre-wedding photography earlier, now Photographer Bunmi Adedipe shares  the story of  wedding ceremony which held in Benin City, with us below:

We arrived at the West View hotel in the GRA area of Benin City on the Saturday morning, when the groom sent his bride, a wedding gift through one of our crew member, “ please give this to her”. It was nice to see how the beautiful bride received the gift sent from the groom, with an ecstatic expression on her face, “aww… He sent me a gift… I want to wear it”.

The couple shared their vows at the St. Joseph Chosen Church of God, Benin City.

The wedding reception took place after the church ceremony, at the Marquee, Edo Hotel in GRA, Benin City. The interesting array of the “Agbada men” in white and the “Aso ebi”  ladies in blue and yellow spiced up the event with a proper blend of colours. The excitement from the groom was very visible that he had to assert that he should be called Mr. Joshua- “please call me Mr. Joshua”.

The family, friends and well wishers were all in high spirit, as they danced and made merry all day long. The ceremony came to a close on a good note as couple expressed their sincere gratitude to their guests.

An event eventually comes to an end, but photography lives to tell the story.
