We are strangely excited we’re not able to dub this introduction party, “highly anticipated” or “the day we’ve been looking forward to” because the couple did a fantastic job of pulling the biggest (and sweetest) surprise on us.
R&B singer and all-round entertainer, Banky W and Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi announced that they are a couple only three days ago. The entire country shook and we’re not even exaggerating.
Did we see them fit for each other? Yes, because they played couple in 2016 blockbuster, The Wedding Party and they were perfect. Did we think they’d actually end up together? Not quite. We did not see any of it coming but now that it’s here, we’re pleased, glad and overjoyed too.
The couple passed through the first phase of the Yoruba traditional wedding process today and it was everything that we hoped it would look like – and a bit of extra.
Groom, Olubankole Wellington aka Banky W wore a deep red agbada by D29 with a hat in the same colour.
The bride, Adesua Tolulope Etomi looked radiant in a burgundy dress by designer, Toju Foyeh. Her look was matched with a dazzling silver statement neckpiece and makeup by T.Alamode Beauty.
