Captivating Stage Plays to Look Forward to at the Grand Lagos Fringe Festival 2018!

The film, music and theatre world is about to come together for Africa’s largest performance festival – Lagos Fringe Festival 2018.

The Lagos Fringe strands is an open-access showcase for performers, exhibitors, vendors and production companies to present their work without restriction to style such as Theatre, Children’s theatre, Dance, Film, Spoken word, Comedy, Puppetry, Cabaret, Photography, Face Painting, Martial Arts Display, Music, Interdisciplinary arts etc.

A pivotal aspect of the activities lined up, the theatre at Lagos Fringe is looking exciting, thrilling and completely engaging as the organizers of the festival led by Kenneth Uphopho have unveiled a line-up of several captivating and fascinating plays expected to showcase.

The plays include Claustro, Cliché, Save Our Song & That Scoundrel Suberu, L’Otor The Devils Pilgrimage, Save Our Song, Light Up Your World – For Kids, Naija Saga, HOME, Who Is Mad, Bad Women, CORA Book & Art Fair, Music Concert, Nollywood Scoundrels, A Parliament Of Vulture, Defiance, Drooping Palm, Goodnight Drama, Rooliug, Under The Rainbow, Esther’s Revenge, Colour Me Pink, That Scoundrel Suberu, Cloned Lives, August Meeting, HELP!!! and Bridezilla.

Showcasing at the various strands of venues of the festival including Terrakulture, Main Lagos Fringe Stage, Kongi’s Harvest Gallery, Freedom Park, British Council, The Ramp, British Council, Main stage & Amphitheatre, these plays will serve to entertain attendees and give them memorable theatre experiences.

Speaking on the array of plays available for the viewing pleasure of attendees, Festival Producer Brenda Uphopho said,

The Lagos Fringe will be showcasing the best and brightest of talents Lagos has to offer, a week-long adventure of everything art and culture. We also made sure that we added a lot of exciting activities for kids so the whole family can partake of the festivities.”
