Glitz Style Awards 2018 Fashion And Style Award Winners

 Glitz Style Awards 2018 takes place in Ghana at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra September 1.

The Ghanaian’s premier lifestyle brand, Glitz Africa hosted guests to the fourth edition of the “Glitz Style Awards.”

The awards celebrated individuals setting trends and raising standards with their fashion style.

For the fashion and beauty segments, actress Joselyn Dumas won Best dressed celebrity on the red carpet. Social Media Style Influencer of the year went to Nana Ama McBrown.

Victoria Michaels won Model of the year award while Yartel took home the honour for Emerging designer of the year.

Gilbert Asante received the Fashion photographer of the year award and Bonang Matheba was Africa’s Style influencer of the year. 

Menswear designer of the year-Atto Tetteh

Womenswear designer of the year- Ophelia Okyere Darko (Ophelia Crossland)

Makeup artist of the year- Valerie Lawson

Stylist of the year- Kelvin Vincent

Red carpet designer of the year- Sima Brew 

African designer of the year- Aisha Ayensu (Christie Brown)

Fashion blogger of the year- Ernest Donkor (Stylernest)

Accessory Designer of the Year- Velma Owusu Bempah (Velma’s Accessories)

Rising Style Influencer- Lharley Lhartey

According to Glitz Africa Magazine, the awards seek to strengthen the growing fashion industry by establishing, developing and promoting international industry standards in Ghana. The event is an opportunity for the fashion industry to celebrate and promote the extraordinary creative talents in Ghana and across the African continent.
