LOOK BOOK: T.I. Nathan Holiday Collection.

On the heels of the release of his SS16 ‘Soliloquy‘ catalogue, Nigerian Menswear designer T.I Nathan has released a look book for a holiday collection. Its a smart move, moving away from the more polarizing Soliloquy which is filled with pieces that are editorial but not necessarily street ready. The Holiday collection references designer Temitayo Nathan earlier work, particularly his Spring 2014 collection, Solace  which featured a cleaner, more formal look.

The new collection is a pastiche of classic silhouettes; dress shirts, suit ensembles and blazers dominate the collection. There is also minimal experimentation with colours in the form of large checked blazers and collarless shirts, worn as vests over clean white shirts. It also features the new guard of muses, Seun Logan and Al’Imran in place of Toyin Oyeneye and Seun Bolaji.

His holiday collection will be considered boring by some and classic by others. But what this holiday collection will be most memorable for is reminding everyone that T.I. Nathan can make a  damned good suit.

Here are the looks.
