So we already did a quick post about the designer brands that having End of Summer Sales this weekend, so they can start promoting/selling their Fall collections in earnest and get you all prepped for Fashion Week. If you haven’t seen that, you should probably check here. Turns out, Grey Projects and Re.Lagos aren’t the only people throwing parties this weekend. So here we are to update your list and help you decide who you wan’t to buy into.

THE MAXIVIVE SAMPLE SALE
Because the last post seemed skewered 100% towards the girls, let’s even things up a bit. Maxivive, the parent label for lines Maxivive,, MXVV and Bodun NG, is having a sample sale. For the uninititated, a sample sale is an opportunity to use the clothes shown at Fashion Weeks and to buyers, so you’re getting the best of the crop, not the mass produced versions of the clothes. The Maxivive Sample Sale and Bodun dress up will go on all weekend, starting from Friday the 25th all the way through to Sunday the 27th. I loved Maxivive Wet 16 collection, so I think you guys should particularly go for that one.
THE POPUP PLUS SHOPPING PARTY
The PopUp Plus party is not exactly a sale, but with how much flack plus size Nigerian fashionistas have to take to find fitting clothes that work for their bodies, it might as well be a sale. Hosted by the fashion brand Dear Curves, it will have clothes from Makioba Clothing and several other plussize clothing and accessories brands. It’s happening at the Social Place, 33 Sinari Daranijo Street V.I on the 28th. Plus size fashionistas rejoice!
ZINKATA 
I know it feels like just yesterday that Zinkata had it’s Made In Africa shopping party to celebrate the launch of it’s in-house label but we’ll never complain about a fashion party that comes with a sale. The Zinkata sale promises to have everything for 15k or less and considering the brands they stock, it’s a damn steal (Meena guys, Meena). Their shopping party is on the 27th and at Dolphin Estate Ikoyi, 13B Awori Road.
ODIO MIMONET
Remember Odio Mimonet, the amazing women’s wear label that makes those gorgeous prints? Yup them too. Their sale is the one I’m well and truly, utterly stoked by because they’re such a reclusive brand. Their flash sale is all weekend and will feature a whopping 50% discount on select pieces. 25b Sanusi Fafunwa Street V.I is the place and all day, all weekend.
Man, You all have to slay at Lagos Fashion and Design Week this year, you have NO excuse.
