Falana is “Nigeria’s coolest front row star”, according to Vogue

Nigerian singer, Falana has been featured on American Vogue in a post-fashion week piece by fashion editor, Chioma Nnadi.

Falana’s strong presence in the front row at the recently concluded Lagos Fashion and Design Week got Vogue’s attention and earned her a feature that touches briefly on her style which Nnadi describes as “audacious”, her preference for Made in Nigeria fashion and her forthcoming album.

“It would be easy to wear labels that are recognized in the Western world, but there’s so much talent right here in Nigeria…It’s important for me to represent where I’m from”, she told the magazine.

Vogue also spotlights Falana’s photo diary from the fashion week, as shot by photographer, Medina Dugger.

It’s not the first time Falana has been recognised by Vogue. In 2016, she was listed as one of the “coolest and most plugged-in women in Lagos”.
