Major fashion powerhouses are geared to descend in Lagos this October for the 2018 African Fashion and Design Week.
The 7th edition taking place on October 12th & 13th at the Oriental Hotel in Lekki Lagos will focus on providing more retail access for designers to consumers globally.
African Fashion and Design Week also aims to create a networking stage and celebrating the African fashion industry.
This year’s event is themed “Magnificent Africa” and will draw visitors, fashion entrepreneurs, buyers, industry professionals, and local & international media from all over the world.
Highlights will include;
- Fashion runway with collections from leading established and emerging designers across Africa
- The annual African Icon of Hope Awards which will acknowledge the contributions of individuals and organisations to the developments of fashion in Africa.
- The Business of Fashion Seminar which provides a platform to enhance core skills and highlight evolving trends within the fashion business value chain.
- A trade exhibition which presents invaluable networking opportunities to buyers and consumers.
