Whitney Madueke’s Instagram baddie tutorial is giving us ideas

We at The Other Style first discovered Whitney Madueke when she was featured in the inaugural Wana Sambo blogger of the month collaborative editorial. She photographs beautifully by the way, working the best of her svelte, petite features. She has since thrown herself into the Nigerian fashion industry, scoring shoots and editorials with established and emerging brands including high street unisex brand 87 Origins.

But what we didn’t know is that Madueke is quite the prolific Youtube Vlogger, with a huge following of nearly 15,000 followers. Her latest makeup tutorial that really got our attention.

The new editorial, titled ‘Instagram Baddie’ teaches us how to hack that all important Instagram ready ‘glow’ that is all the rage. And there’s really nothing we love more than tutorials that connect with our personal lives and teach us a life hack or two. Instagram has become part and parcel of any social media savvy fashion lover, with individuals and even mega brands rushing to embrace the new platform.

With fleeky brows, a killer winged liner, highlights for the gods and muted lip, all the emphasis stays on the eyes. Using beauty products from Black Opal, Mac, Topshop and Primark,Whitney Madueke creates a simple understated look that slays every way till Sunday.

Instagram Baddie, here we come.
