Now you can no longer argue, 2017 is definitely the year of Cardi B.
From hitting the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and being the first female rapper to do so without the support of any credited artiste in almost 19 years to sweeping major awards at the BET Hip Hop Awards weeks ago, Cardi B has remained the most important icon in rap and hip hop this year.
But now, things just skipped to a whole new level for the 25-year-old rapper.
Her boyfriend, Offset proposed to her on stage in front of a roaring audience at last night’s Power 99’s PowerHouse; and of course, she said YES.
You know the time she said in her hit song, Bodak Yellow “they see pictures, they say goals; bitch I’m who they tryna be”? Cardi B just officially became life goals for young ladies across the universe.
