As we slowly transition out of the fashion season and into the awards season, we kick it off with the just concluded MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) 2022, held at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany.
As usual, the EMAs never disappoint when it comes to fashion. The age-old celebration of music is a mixture of street style and bizarre.
Taylor Swift was the queen of the night, both earning four awards and for dazzling in a custom David Koma look, with a sparkling chainmail piece over a black body suit.
Hosts Rita Ora and Taika Waititi brought fashion and fun with unique looks. Rita Ora won “Best Look ‘Personal Style’”, opting for a vintage sheer jumpsuit by Lebanese designer Elie Saab.
SPINALL, Äyanna and Nasty C closed the night, performing “Power” flanked by roller skaters with tracking devices that made the lights on the stage form funky patterns.
One outfit that got people talking belongs to Israeli singer Noa Kirel, who opted for a black crop top paired with trousers printed with Kanye West’s face, designed by Yuval Alroey.
