Upstart actress Adesua Etomi surprised everyone at the last Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, when she emerged from under the radar to beat fan favourite Genevieve Nnaji for the award for best actress. She won for Falling, one of two roles she was nominated for at the event.
A month later, and Etomi is making her victory lap of Magazine covers to promote the film and talk about the win, starting with Today’s Woman magazine.
She shares the cover with Nollywood veterans Ramsey Nouah and Kate Henshaw as well as fellow winners Lala Akindoju (who won the trailblazer award) and Daniel K. Daniel (best actor in a movie/tv series). Wearing pieces from Ouch, Enthyst Place and Taryor Gabriels, the cover stars made quite an impression on us.
It’s always great to see celebrities engage the magazine platform properly as when done right, the platform offers actual stories and mutually beneficial content that readers are actually interested in. Doesn’t hurt that Etomi is gorgeous too and can wear the hell out of a dress.
