Blind and visually impaired models recently took to the catwalk in Paris, hoping to raise awareness about sight deficiencies.
Myriad Chalek, show organiser and co-designed, said the goal is very similar to the fashion show which was held for short people in the US and Paris and also, similar to what is to be done in Tokyo.
She further said that the show is aims to open the minds of people. “We want people to accept the differences in others but also, to make these individuals accept their eye deficiencie, especially in France so they can fight for society to perceive the differently. ”
